The mechanism for negative photochromism of spiropyran in silica was investigated. Prior to our study, the chemical origin of the high thermal stability of the photomerocyanine form (PMC‐form) dispersed in perhydropolysilazane (PHPS), which is converted to silica at ambient temperature, had been investigated. The high thermal stability of the PMC‐form is attributed to the protonated PMC‐form (H???PMC‐form), which is produced by intermolecular hydrogen bonding between oxide anions generated by the cleavage of the C ? O bonds and the partially uncondensed Si ? OH and O ? H bonds of silica. Furthermore, the H???PMC‐form could be thermally isomerized from the SP‐form without UV light irradiation. This specific phenomenon is caused by the so‐called negative photochromism. In this study, we proposed a mechanism for negative photochromism according to the relationship of the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO). The relationship between the HOMOs was determined using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS). On the other hand, the relationship between the LUMOs was determined from the respective optical bandgap. As a result, the HOMO level of H???PMC‐form was ?6.1 eV and that of SP‐form was ?5.3 eV. Accordingly, the thermodynamic stabilization of H???PMC‐form was attributed to the thermal isomerization through negative photochromism from the SP‐form. Three-dimensional (3D) imaging continues to attract much research interest for its wide applications. In 3D shape measurement, the phase carries information about the object. However, phase mapping is ambiguous as the extracted phase is returned in a form that suffers from 2π phase jumps. In this case, the phase data must be unwrapped to be fit for use. Furthermore, sometimes the presence of noise in the measured data, in which many singular points (SPs) are found, makes general phase unwrapping algorithms fail to produce accurate unwrapped results. For this reason, we propose a new phase unwrapping method for dynamic 3D shape measurement. The new algorithm is based on compensating the singularity of discontinuity sources. It uses direct compensators for adjoining SP pairs and uses rotational compensators for other SP pairs. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated and compared with past phase unwrapping methods. Results show that the proposed method gives satisfactory unwrapped results with a low computation time.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a new method??the optical path-length matrix method (OPLM)??as a faster alternative to the Monte Carlo for multi-layered media (MCML), which is often used to simulate the skin spectrum. Theoretically, peripheral oxygen saturation can be estimated by iterating MCML, but it is not a realistic strategy because it requires huge computation time. The optical path-length matrix is obtained as the probabilistic density histograms of the optical path length in skin using MCML, and once the matrix is obtained, skin spectral reflectance can be calculated by accumulating all combinations of elements in the matrix and by setting an absorption coefficient based on the Beer-Lambert law. The computational time of OPLM was approximately 26,000 times faster than that of MCML.  相似文献

We have experimentally achieved a gain extinction ratio (GER) of 30 dB at 21.75 dBm pump power in a dual-pump phase sensitive amplifier based on highly nonlinear fiber, which is more efficient than what we predict with the conventional three-wave model. We point out that high-order sidebands play a key role. Then we scrutinize the trajectories of the output signal vector in the complex plane with increasing nonlinear phase shift and understand the roll-over behavior of GER versus pump power curve. We found that the phase "flip" of the output signal occurs around the largest GER. Adjusting design parameters, we show how to improve GER.  相似文献

We investigated unintentionally doped nonpolar a- and m-plane GaN layers grown by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy under several sets of conditions on freestanding a- and m-plane GaN substrates. Oxygen contamination in a-plane GaN is greatly reduced by increasing the V/III ratio during growth. As a result, a high-resistivity GaN buffer layer for an AlGaN/GaN heterostructure field-effect transistor was realized.  相似文献

Cu46Zr42Al7Y5 metallic glass with nearly 100% relative density was obtained by spark plasma sintering (SPS) with a diameter of 15 mm, which was larger than the largest size of 10 mm for the as-cast specimen. The fracture strength of the sintered specimen reached 2044 MPa, which was 15% higher than that of the as-cast Cu46Zr42Al7Y5 glassy specimen. The densification and compressive properties of the sintered specimens were related to sintering temperature. Structural changes of the specimens sintered at various sintering temperatures resulted in the difference of macro-mechanical properties.  相似文献

Fe(NCS)2(bpa)2, Co(NCS)2(bpa)2, and Fe0.5Co0.5(NCS)2(bpa)2 were synthesized. X-ray structural analysis revealed that the structure was the same among the three complexes. Although the metal-ligand distance in the mixed crystals was shorter than the distance in Fe(NCS)2(bpa)2 and was similar to that in Co(NCS)2(bpa)2, the spin state remained temperature-independent FeII high-spin state in 57Fe M?ssbauer spectra.  相似文献

Magneto-optical Kerr effect enhancement in longitudinal and transversal configurations is systematically studied in one- and two-dimensional magnetoplasmonic crystals based on the nanostructured nickel films. Spectral dependences of magneto-optical effects demonstrate resonant features with the Fano-type lineshape in the spectral vicinity of the Wood's anomaly associated with excitation of surface magnetoplasmons in Voigt and Faraday configurations, respectively.  相似文献

Silahelicenes, which contain two silole moieties in a helically chiral structure, were synthesized by a chiral Ir-catalyzed intermolecular [2+2+2] cycloaddition of tetraynes with diynes along with a Ni-mediated intramolecular [2+2+2] cycloaddition.
